The
real LOVE and priority in my life is my Jewelia, my beautiful daughter.
She comes before anything else. Period. That being said... a little bit
about myself.

Philosophy:
My
introduction to bodybuilding began in 1988 when I first started training
with the intention to compete.
Although
I am still a competitive bodybuilder, my focus is more centered on introducing
other people to the benefits of personal training. While working with
my first client, Dusty Hill of ZZ Top, I realized that proper exercise
is the key to strengthening the connection between the body and the mind.
At
that point, I felt it was my destiny to educate others and teach them
the crucial importance of proper nutrition and weight training.
I
then began to formalize my personal training philosophies as an independent
trainer at the Powerhouse Gym in Venice and Gold's Gym (Hollywood and
North Hollywood). At the same time, I supplemented my hands-on experiences
with courses in exercise physiology at UCLA. In addition, I have earned
the following certifications:
-
American Council of Exercise
- International
Sports Sciences Association
-
American Academy of Health and Fitness - Post Rehabilitation Specialist
In
1996, I moved my business to Powerhouse Gym in West Los Angeles and became
their exclusive provider of personal training systems.
By
this time, I had more clients than I could train, so I developed Fit
4 Life Training Systems Corporation, a personalized system designed
to help my clients strike a balance of proper exercise, healthy diet and
achieving goals.
Shortly,
Fit 4 Life achieved national attention. "Good Morning America"
recognized that my system was on the cutting edge of training and fitness
programs and asked me to write an article about it.
